As Wisconsin honors America’s 250th birthday it’s hard not to notice that the fabric of our freedoms feels fragile this year, and you can thank GOP Congressman Tom Tiffany for that.
From our freedom to vote and get married, to our freedom to make our own private medical decisions and even our freedom to decide what books we want to read or what sports our kids play– Tiffany has used his power in public office to attack each of these freedoms and more.
In fact, amid his busy schedule of axing our rights and freedoms, Tiffany also found time to make everyday costs even higher and take healthcare and food away from the kids, seniors, and families that he gets paid to represent.
By casting one of the deciding votes to pass Trump’s Big Ugly Budget Bill, Tiffany enthusiastically signed off on leaving hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites without healthcare or groceries so that he can fund tax cuts for his billionaire buddies- and on 7 different occasions, Tiffany also voted to continue Trump’s tariffs.
Ironically, the unchecked rising cost of gas and groceries caused by Tiffany’s votes has made it difficult for Wisconsinites to even afford a 4th of July celebration this year.
