While Wisconsinites Brave Winter Weather to Cast Spring Election Ballots, Eric Hovde Joins Donald Trump’s MAGA Sideshow

MADISON, Wis. — In yesterday’s spring election, Wisconsin voters showed how much they value our democracy and freedom to vote, braving wintry weather to make their voices heard on everything from Presidential nominees to local issues like public school funding and the values of our school boards and circuit courts.

Meanwhile, California mega-millionaire Eric Hovde chose to spend election day sharing a stage with MAGA-faction election denier Mike Lindell and Florida Bible Salesman Donald Trump in Green Bay. Hovde’s cozy evening with Trump and Lindell comes just weeks after he shared a stage with convicted January 6 insurrectionist Brandon Straka.

According to A Better Wisconsin Together, Hovde’s decision to keep such company is another stunning display of just how out of touch he is with the values of Wisconsinites.

In response to yesterday’s events, A Better Wisconsin Together Deputy Director Mike Browne released the following statement:

“Eric Hovde keeps showing us just how little he cares about our freedom and our rights, spending election day in Wisconsin with January 6 insurrection instigator Donald Trump and MAGA election lie promoter Mike Lindell.

“To associate with any person, let alone multiple people, involved in an attempt to illegally overturn an election is a blatant disregard for our fundamental freedoms and the promise that all votes hold equal weight in our elections.

“Wisconsinites resoundingly rejected Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda in 2020, and four years later we still did not let his divisive antics in Wisconsin distract or deter us from making our voices heard in yesterday’s election.”

Call Eric Hovde today at 714-730-4444 and remind him that Wisconsinites demand leaders who will uphold the will of the voters, even if they don’t like the results.
