MADISON, Wis. — A Better Wisconsin Together is thanking President Biden for spending time in Wisconsin today to celebrate the job creation, economic strides, and funding for the Badger State’s roads, bridges, and transportation infrastructure made possible by historic Biden Administration investments.

Less than a year after taking office, Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, one of the largest federal investments ever made in Wisconsin for things like safer roads and bridges and good-paying union jobs. Recently, the Infrastructure Law made possible a more than $1 billion investment in a vital bridge replacement project in Superior.

“Wisconsinites deserve to feel safe driving on our roads and getting from point A to point B,” said Chris Walloch, executive director of A Better Wisconsin Together. “Thanks to President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Wisconsinites have assurance not only that our families can travel safely, but that more jobs are brought to Wisconsin so local economies can grow and workers can better support their families.”

Wisconsin has over 900 bridges and almost 2,000 miles of highway in need of repair. In the coming months and years, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will continue to rebuild miles of highways and bridges across Wisconsin, ensuring that everyone in the Badger state has access to safe, high quality transportation.

As we continue to see the benefits of the Infrastructure Law in the Badger State, join A Better Wisconsin Together in thanking the Biden Administration, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, and Reps. Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan who have all made investments like the Infrastructure Bill possible for Wisconsin.
