MADISON, Wis. – As Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump hold separate rallies in Wisconsin today, A Better Wisconsin Together is encouraging Wisconsinites to pay close attention to the vastly different futures laid out before us.

The following are statements from Lucy Ripp, communications director at A Better Wisconsin Together:

“Today’s rallies reflect a crossroads between two very different futures for Wisconsinites and our nation as a whole.

“Kamala Harris’ plan is for a future where we all are free to make decisions about our own bodies, while a future under Trump’s Project 2025 would allow politicians to criminalize women for seeking abortion care and jail doctors and nurses for providing that care.

“Kamala Harris has plans to crack down on price gouging, invest in building the middle class, tax cuts for working families and for people caring for loved ones like a sick parent or a spouse in their homes, and ensuring everyone’s freedoms are protected -regardless of where you live, what you look like or who you love.

“Donald Trump has shown us he only cares about himself and is willing to attack our freedom to choose our own leaders and attack and threaten our fellow Americans. And his Project 2025 agenda promises to cater to the wealthy few, raise prices on middle class families, and attack our democracy.

“Wisconsinites have come together and rejected the MAGA agenda before. Now, Wisconsinites once again have the power to choose which future we want.”
