MADISON, Wis. — A Better Wisconsin Together is thanking Vice President Kamala Harris for visiting Wisconsin today and highlighting how she plans to continue protecting our freedoms and fighting on behalf of hardworking Wisconsin families.
According to A Better Wisconsin Together Communications Director Lucy Ripp, Harris’s speech today was a breath of fresh air compared to Donald Trump, who spreads dangerous lies and divisive rhetoric instead of the values that unite us as Wisconsinites.

“As Vice President, Kamala Harris has been a fierce advocate for issues that matter to Wisconsinites. From kicking off her Reproductive Freedoms Tour earlier this year in Waukesha, to casting the tie-breaking vote that passed the Inflation Reduction Act and brought over 70,000 new clean energy jobs into Wisconsin, it’s clear that VP Harris is listening to our voices and ensuring that hardworking families have the tools and resources they need to succeed, while also holding the wealthiest few accountable and keeping politicians out of our exam rooms.
“Now, she even has a plan to cut taxes for middle class Wisconsin families, lower costs at the grocery store, and make it easier for Wisconsin families to afford child care and housing. That’s the kind of leadership and policy agenda that Wisconsinites deserve, not the far-right and divisive Trump agenda of Project 2025.”
