In Wisconsin, we know that Donald Trump’s agenda is dangerous and is at odds with our Badger State values.

MADISON, Wis. — Following yesterday’s Super Tuesday primary elections in several states, MAGA faction leader Donald Trump, who spurred the violent and deadly January 6 insurrection after overwhelmingly losing the 2020 election and is facing 91 criminal charges against him, appears set to once again be Republicans’ presidential nominee.

The following are the statements of A Better Wisconsin Together Executive Director Chris Walloch:

“In Wisconsin, we know that Donald Trump’s agenda is dangerous and is at odds with our Badger State values.

“It was Trump’s MAGA-controlled Supreme Court that overturned Roe v. Wade and put politicians, not the people, in charge of decisions over our own bodies.

“And worse yet, Trump is not just bragging about his central role in taking fundamental freedoms away from us, he’s vowing to continue attacking them.

“Last month, it was revealed that Trump already has plans in place to further gut abortion access. He has publicly vowed to be a ‘dictator’ on day one should he take office again, and even encouraged attacks on U.S. allies by Russia.

“We also haven’t forgotten it was Trump’s refusal to respect our freedom that incited a deadly attack on our Capitol, and recent reporting has shed more light on the disgraceful Trump and MAGA faction fake electors plot to illegally toss away millions of Wisconsinites’ votes.

“In 2020, Wisconsin rejected Trump’s lies and attacks on our freedoms because we deserve leaders who act honorably and honestly in our best interests. In 2024, we will continue to call out the unpopular and dangerous MAGA agenda.”
