MADISON, Wis. — As UW nurses continue their fight to restore their collective bargaining rights, A Better Wisconsin Together released the following statement of support:

“We stand in solidarity with UW nurses and SEIU Wisconsin in their pursuit of collective bargaining rights and the freedom to have a say in their workplace, and we applaud them for standing up and demanding their basic workplace rights be honored and recognized.

“In Wisconsin, we all benefit from an economy in which workers are fairly paid and workplaces are safe and well-run, and when those on the frontlines of our healthcare raise the alarm, we have to listen.

“As their fight for union recognition continues, we stand with them in their fight for a better workplace and high quality care for patients.”
