MADISON, Wis. – In response to Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address, A Better Wisconsin Together released the following statement:
“No amount of political spin or outright falsehoods woven into a long-winded, egocentric speech can change this truth: Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda are dangerous and wildly unpopular, across our nation and in Wisconsin.
“From cutting off food and healthcare to Wisconsin families and tariffs that are raising our cost of living and hurting local farmers, to ICE’s terror and federal funding cuts that literally put our lives on the line by slashing food safety inspections and medical research, Wisconsinites have been hit hard by Trump’s reckless and unpopular agenda.
“With Trump’s recent endorsement of Republican Tom Tiffany in Wisconsin’s gubernatorial race, it’s never been more important that Wisconsinites continue fighting back.
“It’s also never been more clear that Trump and his allies know they’re losing, here in Wisconsin and nationwide. But instead of meaningfully listening to voters, Trump is using Tiffany and other Wisconsin allies to try and control our elections, silence our voices, and seize more power.
“Trump is relying on MAGA allies like Tiffany to spread lies and stir up chaos and division in hopes that we won’t see how their failed policies are raising costs and tanking our economy, starving our communities, and hurting working families.
“Unfortunately for Donald Trump and Tom Tiffany, the state of the union has proven that the people are indeed united, against the MAGA agenda.”
