MADISON, Wis. — Results of the 2026 Wisconsin Supreme Court race are in, showing that voters elected Judge Chris Taylor in a landslide victory. Tonight’s result shows an overwhelming rejection of the right-wing agenda for the third state Supreme Court election in a row, and further solidifies a strong progressive majority that will continue protecting our rights and freedoms in the Badger State.

In response, the following are statements from A Better Wisconsin Together:

“Once again, Wisconsin voters chose common sense, progress, and freedom over a radical, right-wing agenda that thrives on dividing our communities and leaving working families behind in service of right-wing special interests.

“By further solidifying a strong progressive majority, the Wisconsin Supreme Court will continue as a first line of defense in protecting Wisconsinites’ constitutional rights and freedoms, and a vital check on the Trump Administration amid its barrage of threats to our rights and livelihoods.

“This election has shown that there’s more that unites us than divides us as Wisconsinites, and when we come together, we can make Wisconsin a better place for all.”
