Your Vote Matters. Your Voice Matters.

Do you have a plan to get out to vote for the primary in August?

I do. Yes.

Yes!

I have asked for my ballot by mail.

I do plan to vote in the primary.

My plan is to vote day of.

I have voted already. I voted yesterday.

Why do you think it’s important for people to get out to vote in this primary and in November?

Well, as we’ve seen, it really matters. Your vote matters, your voice matters, and if we don’t have representative government, then people will make policies that only benefit a few folks.

I mean, historically speaking, it’s been really important to do that. People didn’t have the right to vote at one point in time—people that look like myself, for example.

I would say people before you fought and died for your right to vote.

It’s important to speak your mind.

I think it’s important to vote to keep our democracy healthy. There’s a lot of threats to our democracy right now.

It’s so important that you vote. Your voice counts.

It’s really literally the least you can do.

It’s very important to let the higher-ups know where your stances are.

Think about it like an HR thing—you’re hiring and firing people to do the things that you really want them to do.
