MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin State Supreme Court today announced that MAGA attorney Jim Troupis has been suspended from his position as a member of the Judicial Conduct Advisory Committee.

Troupis was a central figure in the criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election and, despite his involvement in the scheme to undermine our freedom coming to light, was re-appointed to his court post by Justice Annette Ziegler with the support of the then conservative majority.

The following are the statements of A Better Wisconsin Together Deputy Director Mike Browne:

“Jim Troupis was at the center of the MAGA faction’s criminal scheme to undermine our freedom and overturn the 2020 election. Suspending him from this post is another step forward in holding him and his fellow conspirators accountable for what they did.

“It’s great to see the new majority on our Wisconsin Supreme Court is more interested in protecting our freedoms than the political cronies of right-wing justices.”
