As we celebrate Women’s History Month in 2026, Wisconsin Congressman and candidate for governor Tom Tiffany wants to undo decades of progress. He supports making it harder for  many women to vote, wants to ban abortion, and voted against access to birth control and equal pay for women.

Last month Tiffany voted for the SAVE Act, a sweeping roll back of voting rights that would require unnecessary barriers at the voting booth for people who have changed their name, something that 80% of women (compared to only 8% of men) do when getting married.

In 2022, Tiffany co-sponsored a bill to ban abortion, a fact some may not know after Tiffany conveniently deleted the section on abortion off of his website in the days leading up to announcing his run for governor.

Not only does Tiffany’s record indicate he believes women shouldn’t have the right to an abortion, in 2022 he also voted against ensuring women have the right to access birth control when he voted against the Right to Contraception Act.

The following year in 2023 Tiffany voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act, which would protect women from pay discrimination in the workplace. Tiffany voted against this legislation despite the fact that, in that same year, Wisconsin women were paid roughly only 84% of what men were.

This Women’s History Month and beyond, call Tom Tiffany at (202)-225-3365 and remind him Wisconsin women deserve elected leaders who will protect our rights and freedoms, not take them away.

Inaction by Republicans to enact commonsense state reforms means Wisconsinites will spend another 4/20 among the dwindling number of states where medicinal or recreational use of marijuana is not allowed
