To me, the Department of Public Instruction is really the organization that helps make sure students are college and career ready.
They’re the state agency that’s looking to set standards and help promote the education for students. And they also administer the library system, teacher licensing, food, helping students reach their academic goals.
To me, it’s just something that everybody should be participating in to really help their community.
