I’m Lindsay and I’m a special education paraprofessional at a middle school in Wisconsin.
Two weeks in we started with actual students in class then adding in the in-person students was much more difficult.
At home while I’m at school, it’s a process. We’re learning. There’s so much trouble with the bandwidth in our area right now. Some of those kids, I feel like we’ve dropped the ball.
I’m aware that I am putting my health at risk I’m also aware that I could be putting others at risk. It just makes it hard because some of the kids they struggle, but yeah, it’s hard for me.
We definitely need more support.
I feel like poor people like us who feel really stressed out will feel like we have more support and people behind us just in general.
