Funding Our Schools

I’ve been a teacher for 23 years in the public school system in Wisconsin. I teach high school English, and I love the opportunity to teach teenagers how to find their own voices through writing.

I think public schools have a huge impact on our community. Helping students learn and grow and become productive citizens of society is one of our goals and missions. So, it is really important that we are constantly working toward making things better, investing in our kids, investing in our future.

Tony Evers has, as an educator, shown this record to really try to put kids first. It’s about time that we, as a state, start investing more in our public schools so that we can take the burden off of local communities.

It is so important that our public schools get the funding that they need so they can support our communities, our teachers, and most importantly, our kids.
