A Tale of Two Wisconsin Rallies: Harris Pushes for Unity, Freedom, and a Thriving Middle Class While Trump Keeps Sowing Division
MADISON, Wis. — Tonight, Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump held dueling rallies in Milwaukee, making final pitches to Wisconsinites with just three days left until the November 5 election.
According to A Better Wisconsin Together Deputy Director Mike Browne, Harris brought a unifying vision and a policy agenda that prioritizes local families and freedoms, while Trump once again focused on spreading lies and sowing division with his dangerous Project 2025 agenda.
Read Browne’s full statement below:
“Hardworking Wisconsin families want and deserve action on things like lowering costs at the grocery store, affordable child care and health care, and ensuring our rights and freedoms are protected.
“Yet, on the tails of racist remarks made at his Madison Square Garden speech and more alarming and threatening rhetoric directed at women and people who disagree with him, Trump’s speech in Milwaukee tonight was yet another example of just how far he’ll go to distract us from his dangerous Project 2025 agenda. Trump’s plan is to give tax cuts to the wealthiest few while leaving working families behind, give himself unchecked Presidential power, repeal the Affordable Care Act, and attack basic freedoms like reproductive health care and voting.
“Meanwhile, just down the street, Harris outlined her plans to continue fighting for our freedoms and ensuring that hardworking families have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
“That’s the kind of leadership and policy agenda that Wisconsinites deserve, not the far-right and divisive Trump agenda of Project 2025.”
